Legal Secretary
We are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join the Property Division within the Comptroller and Legal Department. This role requires a professional with a strong background in legal office administration and document management, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment providing high-level support.Day-to-day of the role:Provide administrative and business support within a legal office setting, including managing diaries for individuals or teams.Handle the preparation, management, and editing of legal documents, including PDFs.Conduct research using legal research tools such as West Law and Lexis Nexis.Communicate information clearly and effectively, both orally and in written form, to clients, elected members, stakeholders, and colleagues.Manage and deliver your own work with minimal supervision, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.Required Skills and Qualifications:GCSE English Language Grade 6 or above, plus at least three additional GCSEs at Grade 6 or above or equivalent qualifications (e.g., Functional Skills, NVQ, BTEC).Proven experience working in a legal office with high-level administration or business support functions.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe editing tools.Experience in diary management and supporting both individuals and teams.Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise documents.Strong comprehension, research, and analytical skills to formulate pragmatic solutio
