HR Compliance OfficerDescription
- Attend and prepare supporting documentation for the Conduct Committee, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Partner with stakeholders to review and update policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with legislative trends and organizational needs.
- Collaborate with Operations team to align compliance efforts and controls.
- Lead audits, reporting, and governance for compliance-related initiatives, including data analysis and presentation of findings.
- Ensure appropriate data security controls are in place for the protection of sensitive personnel data.
- Identify vulnerabilities and risks related to data handling and collaborate with the cyber security and data protection teams to address these proactively.
- Serve as a liaison between cyber security, IT, and the data protection team to ensure smooth communication and collaboration during the People Technology Transformation.
- Provide support in data cleansing and migration activities, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with Lockton''s cyber security and data protection policies.
- Support and advise the People Technology implementation team on country-by-country data compliance and data residency regulations, liaising with data protection and cyber security teams as required.
- Work closely with Legal, Compensation, Payroll, and other teams to address compliance training and updates.
- Lead governance impacted projects and support change management efforts.
- Work closely with the first- and second-line Compliance Teams in executing activities.
- Evolve and implement SMandCR processes for effective management within the LLP.
- Ensure the execution and recording of the annual certification process, including support and monitoring of SMandCR individuals and issuing certificates.
- Manage systems and data production, identifying process/system improvements.
- Support HR and business in identifying relevant Associates under SMandCR during recruitment, changes, and departures.
- Lead on SMandCR regulatory development initiatives.
- Provide training to SMF holders, Certified individuals, HRBPs, and line managers.
- Support continuous improvement of the Compliance landscape across the LLP.Candidate Profile
- Ability to create simple, effective SMandCR processes.
- Ability to work across compliance, cyber security, and data protection teams.
- Confidence and gravitas to deliver training at all levels, including Partners.
- Enthusiasm for SMandCR and data compliance initiatives.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven effective communication with Partners and Associates.
- Ability to build productive relationships.
- Appropriate training qualification.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global business.
- SMandCR experience within the Insurance sector.
- Knowledge of programme planning, financial services, and insurance markets.
- Skills in conflict handling, multitasking, facilitation, and communication.
- Innovative approach to SMandCR delivery.About The Position
Support the UK and Europe Regional HR Lead in executing Prescribed Responsibilities under SMandCR, managing the annual certification process, and providing ongoing training. Act as a liaison between cybersecurity, IT, and data protection teams to support governance and controls.Custom section 3
