Our client who looks after a number of different sites across the education sector in Bradford are looking for a skilled experienced Caretaker / Janitor Some of the Responsibilities required for Caretaker / JanitorLiaison with key stakeholders in order to programme support tasks efficiently and effectivelyEnsure premises are opened and secured with agreed proceduresProvide first line response to reactive eventsCoordination of access for 3rd partiesEnsure premises are maintained in a safe and secure mannerPorterage and logistic support services as required - ordering, distribution and storage of materialsMail distributionGeneral security services, including management of CCTV and alarm systemsFurniture re-organisationHelp-desk logging and closing down jobsBuilding and ground maintenanceUndertake Statuary Inspections including but not limited to emergency lighting (Inspections), fire alarms (inspections and reset of equipment) and legionella cleaning of shower-heads on a regular basis and recording water temperaturesReact to and execute immediately any general repairs and maintenance duties as required or requested to undertakeUndertake cleaning duties as and when required and in accordance with health and safety and cleaning best practiceSupervise, direct and develop Assistant Janitor/ CaretakersResponsibility for personnel, preparation of paperwork, time-sheets, overtime, distribution of payslips, absenteeism etcA knowledge of the Bradford area would help.Past experience s a
