Interim Financial ControllerLocation: Leicester (Hybrid) Day Rate: 400 - 500 DOE Contract: 6 months The OpportunityWe are partnering with a well-established business in Leicester that is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support them through a key transitional phase over the next six months. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week in the office.Key Responsibilities:Lead the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly management accountsOversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirementsManage cash flow forecasting and working capital managementSupport preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditorsReview and improve financial controls, systems, and processes to enhance efficiencyProvide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making during this period of changeBusiness partner with senior stakeholders to drive performance and accountabilitySupport the wider finance team through organisational changes and any process or systems transitionsAbout You:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Previous experience as a Financial Controller, ideally supporting businesses through periods of change or transitionStrong technical accounting skills with excellent attention to detailConfident in leading and motivating finance teamsProactive, hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindsetStrong communication skills with the abilit
