Location: Birmingham and Surrounding Areas Position: 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant Type of Work: One-to-one support for a child with SEND within a mainstream primary classroom Contract/Position Start Date: ASAPDuration: OngoingFull Time/Part TimeMinimum Rate of Pay: Negotiable Hours: 8:30 am 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)The Role:Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with specific SEND needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language difficultiesAdapt learning materials and approaches to suit the childs individual needsSupport the pupils academic, social, and emotional developmentMaintain accurate records of progress and share feedback with the wider teamContribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will:Have previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting (essential)Have experience in a 1:1 role or similar (preferred)Requirements to Work with Prospero Teaching:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold a valid, enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)Provide two child-related professional references covering the last two years Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
