Bookkeeper

Search are currently supporting a well-established, family-run business based in Liverpool who are now looking to appoint a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant as the business continues to grow. This is a standalone role, supported by the Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.This is a small close-knit, supportive culture. They''re looking for someone reliable and proactive who can slot into the team, work independently, and keep the day-to-day finance running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit controlRaising and processing invoices daily - a key task for the businessUsing Sage 50 and/or Xero for all bookkeeping activityHelping ensure all payments, receipts, and reconciliations are accurately recordedSupporting month-end activity as requiredThe Ideal Candidate:Prior experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts assistant roleConfident using Sage 50 and/or Xero (training can be provided if needed)Comfortable working autonomously and managing their own workloadFriendly, adaptable, and down-to-earth - someone who can quietly fit into a sociable, easy-going teamComfortable working in a small business environment with a hands-on approachThe benefits on offer include: 26,000- 29,000 (depending on experience)25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidayPension Free-onsite parking(phone number removed)pm (flexibility to discuss)This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the finance function in
