About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Lecturer to join a growing construction department in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity for a qualified plumbing professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

In this role, you will deliver engaging classroom and practical workshop sessions to students studying plumbing qualifications, helping them develop the technical knowledge and hands-on skills required for a successful career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and practical plumbing lessons

• Teach learners working towards plumbing qualifications (Level 1-3)

• Support students in developing their practical plumbing skills and industry knowledge

• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback

• Maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation

• Ensure teaching meets awarding body standards and health & safety requirements

• Support and motivate learners to achieve their full potential

Requirements

• Strong industry experience as a qualified plumber

• Relevant plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent)

• Good communication and organisational skills

• A passion for teaching and supporting learners

A teaching qualification (such as AET, PTLLS, or PGCE) is desirable but not essential, as support may be provided to gain the qualification.
