Civil CAD Technician / Design CAD Engineer West Yorkshire Salary up to 45k, depending on experienceAn established Civil Engineering and utilities services provider is seeking a Civil CAD Technician / Design CAD Engineer to join their integrated design team. This role will support the delivery of both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including work on major water frameworks, from outline design through to detailed design, construction and commissioning support.The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and managing high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings in line with client specifications and design standards, while also supporting the wider design process by preparing reports, specifications, calculations and estimates. You will work with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage, with experience of BIM integration and the use of Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM360 considered highly advantageous.You will collaborate with engineers, technicians and other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of overall designs, contribute to the resolution of technical issues, and provide ongoing design support through the construction and commissioning phases.
