Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Pay: From -90 per day PAYE (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (induction in August)

We''re proud to be working with a dedicated FE (Further Education) SEN College in Coventry that provides highly personalised education for learners aged 16-25 with complex physical, sensory, and learning needs. The college''s approach is rooted in person-centred care, communication development, and building independence wherever possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for PMLD support to join a skilled, nurturing team in a role that truly makes a difference.
What You''ll Be Doing:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support for learners with complex needs, including physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and medical requirements
Assisting with personalised learning programmes, including communication development, sensory exploration, and life skills
Supporting students with personal care and mobility needs (full training provided if required)
Facilitating engagement in classroom and practical activities, using specialist resources and assistive technology where appropriate
Promoting independence, confidence, and social interaction in a safe, structured environment
Working closely with tutors, therapists, and support staff to deliver an integrated, holistic approach to learning
What We''re Looking For:
Experience supporting individuals with PMLD or complex SEN (school, college, or care setting)
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to meeting a wide range of physical and learning needs
Willingness to support with personal care and physical assistance as part of daily routines
Excellent communication skills, including non-verbal communication methods
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, Health & Social Care, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential if you have strong practical experience
