We are looking for an educator who can look past a diagnosis and see a student''s potential, using creative, sensory-based pedagogy to make the curriculum accessible and exciting.Your ResponsibilitiesAdaptive Lesson Planning: Transform the National Curriculum into "small-step" learning objectives that align with each student''s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).Communication Advocacy: Lead a "Total Communication" environment, utilising Makaton, PECS, and visual aids to ensure every student is understood.Positive Co-Regulation: Create a low-arousal, highly structured atmosphere where Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is at the heart of every interaction.Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Work in tandem with onsite Speech and Language Therapists (SaLT) and Occupational Therapists (OT) to integrate therapeutic goals into daily learning.Team Mentorship: Lead and empower a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants, ensuring they have the guidance and support needed to facilitate high-quality 1:1 interventions.Assessment and Reporting: Use specialist framework
