Alecto Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established plant equipment business that is expanding its Midlands service team. They''re looking for a Mobile Fitter to cover customer sites across the region, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and breakdown support on a fleet of Telescopic Handlers including JCB and Manitou machines.

The Role:

You''ll be working predominantly on customer sites across the Midlands, responsible for:

• Servicing and maintaining telescopic handlers
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Attending breakdowns and minimising downtime
• Managing your workload independently
• Delivering high standards of customer service

What They''re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong experience as a diesel mechanic or plant fitter
• Good working knowledge of plant machinery
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Strong communication skills

Desirable:

• CSCS Card

This role would suit candidates from plant, agricultural, HGV, powered access, forklift, or heavy vehicle backgrounds.
