The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting residents while leading and encouraging the wider care team to deliver outstanding standards of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and supporting care staff on shift
• Delivering high-quality, compassionate care
• Assisting residents with daily living activities in a dignified manner
• Administering medication where required
• Maintaining accurate care documentation and care plans
• Promoting resident independence, wellbeing, and choice
• Creating a safe, calm, and positive environment for residents and staff
About You
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
• Previous experience within a senior care role in a residential or nursing home setting
• A caring, compassionate, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Medication training desirable but not essential
• Passionate about delivering person-centred care
