Their work spans risk assessments, designated person services, mooring and cargo terminal consultancy, GIS/AIS data analysis, and specialist expertise in vessel traffic services (VTS) systems and support. About the Role This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on delivering, installing, and supporting mission-critical marine technology systems primarily in the UK, with occasional overseas travel. As a Marine Systems Engineer, you ll be working on systems such as vessel traffic monitoring, AIS networks, and coastal surveillance. You''ll play a key role in troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading marine electronics, while providing technical guidance to clients and collaborating with internal teams on complex solutions. The ability to travel at short notice, and occasionally for up to two weeks, is required. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and support VTS and coastal surveillance systems Develop system design drawings and technical proposals for client review Conduct on-site and remote troubleshooting using system health tools
