Job Title: Multi-Track Costs Draftsman / Costs Lawyer Salary: £30,000 £40,000 (depending on experience) Location: Liverpool City Centre (Office-based) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: A well-established legal company based in Liverpool City Centre is looking for an experienced Multi-Track Costs Draftsman or Costs Lawyer to join their drafting team.In this role, you ll handle a varied and complex caseload involving the preparation of Multi-Track Bills (including Precedent S), Costs Budgets, and supporting documentation such as Precedents R and T. You ll be confident in costs negotiations, have a solid understanding of the litigation process, and ideally, be experienced attending CCMCs.This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise into a collaborative environment that values attention to detail, knowledge sharing, and quality client service.Key Responsibilities:Draft and serve Multi-Track Bills, including Precedent S style BillsPrepare Costs Budgets (Precedents H), Precedents R and T, and N260 StatementsAttend CCMCs where requiredManage costs negotiations and support clients through the costs processCommunicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external clientsProvide training or support to junior team members (and clients, if required)Ensure compliance with relevant CPR and litigation proceduresWork efficiently and independently, managing multiple case typesTypes of Cases You ll Work On:Housing DisrepairFinancial Claims (e.g. Undisclosed Co
