Job Title: Permanent Warehouse Assistant
Location: Witham, Essex
Hours: Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 (30 min lunch)
Salary: -23,868 - -27,378 depending on hours worked
Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Witham on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role that offers a great opportunity to be part of a well-established company within an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and sign for goods, placing them in designated storage areas

• Pick parts from stores for production and self-serve bins

• Load and unload delivery vehicles (Forklift Truck use required)

• Prepare units for dispatch

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of workshop floor, yard, and stores

• Coordinate waste collection

• Use internal database to monitor stock levels

• Raise purchase orders for stock and contract requirements

Experience & Skills Required:

• Manual handling experience essential

• Computer literacy required

• Forklift Truck licence desirable

• Must be well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is advantageous
