Assistant Group HR ManagerLocation: South Manchester, with occasional travel to sites across the UK The OpportunityReporting to the Group HR Manager, this is a hands-on and strategic HR generalist role. You will take ownership of key HR functions, projects, and daily operations - ensuring a consistent, proactive, and professional HR service across all sites. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple locationsDeliver and support on a range of HR projects, including change initiatives and policy developmentProvide expert guidance on employee relations and employment lawManage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processesSupport payroll coordination and ensure compliance with statutory requirementsChampion a positive, solutions-focused culture aligned with BHID''s core valuesDevelop strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders across the business What You''ll Bring Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a multi-site, manufacturing, or fast-paced environmentExcellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practicesStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levelsConfident in managing employee relations and end-to-end recruitmentExperience in payroll processes and systems is highly desirableHigh levels of discretion, integrity
