Pay: £90 – £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in inclusive schools across Brigg. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to supporting children with varying learning needs to thrive in education.
About the School: This is a welcoming and well-resourced specialist setting for secondary-aged pupils who follow a primary-style curriculum. The school supports students with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, behavioural challenges, and learning difficulties. Class sizes are small, typically around 12 to 13 pupils, allowing for more tailored and supportive teaching.
It’s a bit like teaching primary children in secondary-sized bodies—full of energy, personality and potential.
Responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 academic or emotional support to pupils with additional needs.
- Support the teacher in maintaining a focused classroom environment.
- Modify learning resources and adapt materials as needed.
- Encourage pupil engagement, participation, and progress.
- Assist with behaviour management and routine classroom duties.
Requirements for Learning Support Assistant:
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Compassionate and flexible attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- An up-to-date CV covering 10 years, with any gaps explained.
