Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Transport Infrastructure Project

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a landmark public transport infrastructure project. The scheme will create a new transport hub, seamlessly linking bus services with the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension - transforming connectivity for the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial management for NEC4 contracts, with a focus on forecasting, cost reporting, and contract administration.

• Manage project delivery to agreed schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.

• Drive cost efficiency through value engineering and strategic procurement.

• Ensure effective risk management and full contractual compliance.

• Mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, fostering excellence and continuous improvement.

• Provide detailed commercial reports and strategic insights to senior leadership.

About You:

• Proven success as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally in civil engineering or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Strong track record with NEC4 Option C contracts.

• Skilled in budget management, particularly subcontractor delivery oversight.

• Expert in cost management, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Confident communicator and negotiator, with excellent leadership skills.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline (RICS/CIOB accreditation desirable).
