Job Title: Head of Strategic Asset Management Type: Interim Contract Location: Bristol Salary: Up to £700 a day Hours: 37 Hours a week BRC are working closely with a South West local authority handling local services for about 450,000 residents. The role involves leading and managing the authorities strategic asset management, including the implementation of the Asset Management Strategy, performance assessment of property assets, and risk-based decision-making on investments and disposals. The position entails oversight of the Asset Management, Building Safety, and Compliance teams, as well as responsibility for planning and governance within Landlord Services. It includes maintaining the HRA business plan, supporting service development and cultural change, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, and providing strategic leadership and clear management across various services. Duties: Develop and manage the Council s strategic approach to asset management through detailed maintenance and analysis of asset data and ongoing consultation activities with staff and residents. Lead on the implementation of the Asset Management Strategy, being accountable and responsible for establishing, implementing, reviewing and revising plans which translate strategy and priorities into delivery.
