Your new company We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing business in Wigan within the manufacturing/distribution sector. This is a fully on-site role offering a broad and hands-on position within a busy finance function, supporting the day-to-day operations as well as month-end and reporting processes.This role would suit someone who is detail-oriented, proactive and confident managing multiple aspects of the finance function, including both transactional and management accounting responsibilities.Your new role Manage sales ledger and credit control, including trading limits, bad debt monitoring and high-risk accountsOversee orders on hold, forward orders and new customer account set-upMaintain and reconcile customer accounts, including cash posting and query resolutionHandle purchase ledger processes, including preparation, monitoring and supplier paymentsPerform bank inputting and reconciliationsManage and control import and export processes, including proformas and system accuracySupport and complete month-end activities, including: sales and purchase ledger close, accruals and prepayments, bank revaluations, journal entries and general ledger reviewProduce monthly management accounts and sales reportingPrepare and submit VAT returns and reconciliationsLiaise with auditors and assist with audit requirementsManage PAYE, wages and auto-enrolment processesComplete ONS reportingMaintain finance systems and ensure effective
