Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer-to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a-Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.-

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the-UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

As the-Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The-Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer-will be responsible for:

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems, including boilers, pumps, pipework, valves, and associated equipment.
  • Install, repair, and service mechanical and plumbing components in accordance with specifications and technical drawings.
  • Identify and diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and work from technical manuals.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of planned maintenance schedules.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support on-site commissioning and testing of mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Expected to join a 1 in 4 call out rota.

To be successful for this Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer role you must have:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing-or a Mechanical discipline.-
  • Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and testing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and continuous improvement.
