INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN
Our Client is looking for an experienced Instrument Technician on a contract basis (3on/4off rotation). Contract:- Temporary Contract - PAYE tax status Start date:- ASAP End date:- April 2026 - (may be a view to extend) The Instrument Technician is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient functioning of the DCS, control systems and all its associated equipment and to perform preventative and corrective maintenance duties and tasks safely and effectively. Additionally assisting in specific areas of the production operation as required. The role and its responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: - Extensive experience as an Instrument Technician within the UKCS is a prerequisite to be in a position to apply for this role. Knowledge and experience of working on FPSO''s would be preferable to our Client. Rotational role 3 offshore/ 4 onshore (time-off). The Instrument Technician is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient functioning of the DCS, control systems and all its associated equipment and to perform preventative and corrective maintenance duties and tasks safely and effectively. Reports up to the Instrument Lead. Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating all instrumentation installed on the installation.
