I am working alongside a civil engineering principal contractor. They are looking to onboard a general foreman for new framework kicking off in Middlesex. The scope of works you will be responsible for managing will include groundwork, buried services, drainage and reinforced concrete works.-

General foreman responsibilities:-

• General management of all construction and civil engineering activities.
• Daily allocation of plant, labour, and materials.
• Coordination of site activities, including subcontractors.
• Management of the workforce on-site to ensure safe working methods and minimal environmental impact.
• Ensuring deliveries are stored in a safe area to prevent injury to the public and staff and to avoid plant damage.
• Ensuring the correct PPE is available and used.
• Assisting in method statement production.

General foreman requirements:-

• Right to work in the UK.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• CSCS card.
• SMSTS.
• First aid.
• HSG47.
• Experience with buried services and utilities.
• IT literate.
• Full UK driving licence.
