The RoleAs the Design Manager, you will be a key member of the project delivery team, overseeing the design process from pre-construction through to handover. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure designs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the design process on live and pre-construction projects

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective design delivery

Ensure designs meet client requirements, building regulations, and project specifications

Review and manage design risks and opportunities

Support value engineering efforts and innovation

Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally

Provide technical advice to the wider project team

Requirements

Proven experience as a Design Manager with a main contractor or developer

Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction practices

Experience in residential and/or commercial projects

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar is desirable

What We Offer
