At Calders and Grandidge, we''re looking for a Creosote Plant Operator to join our production team, helping to deliver the high-quality treated timber products to our customers. With over 100 years of experience, we specialise in treated timber poles, railway sleepers, gates, and fencing, serving customers across the UK.Our Boston site is home to the one of only two operational creosote treatment plants in the country, making this role a unique opportunity to work in a highly specialised and essential industry.What the role involvesAs a Creosote Plant Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring our timber treatment operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:Operating and maintaining the creosote plant in line with safety and quality requirements.Monitoring treatment cycles and boiler systems, making adjustments as needed.Carrying out routine safety, maintenance, and plant performance checks.Identifying and responding to operational issues, supporting improvements, and ensuring a safe working environment.Working collaboratively with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.Upholding housekeeping and site standards.What we''re looking forWe''re
