This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference supporting students with hearing impairments within a mainstream or specialist provision.We are seeking a confident communicator with BSL Level 2 (minimum) who can provide effective in-class support and help ensure students fully access learning.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with hearing impairments Use British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 to facilitate communication between students and staff Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs Promote inclusion, independence and confidence Work closely with the SENCO and wider support teamRequirements: BSL Level 2 qualification (essential) Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice Patient, proactive and reliable approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)This role would suit a dedicated Teaching Assistant passionate about inclusive education and ensuring every child has equal access to learning.If you have any questions please call (phone number removed) or ask for Dylan at Remedy Education.
