Data Strategy and Advisory Leader – Capital Markets (Managing Principal) – London, UK. Location: London (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Data and Analytics | Type: Permanent. Capco is seeking a Capital Markets Data Strategy and Advisory Leader at Managing Principal level to expand our award-winning Data Practice. You’ll define and lead strategic data advisory initiatives for some of the world’s top financial institutions, helping shape enterprise-wide transformation while growing Capco’s presence in the Capital Markets domain.What You’ll Do
Build and scale data capabilities within Capital Markets in close partnership with domain and consulting leadsDrive commercial growth through client mapping, pipeline development and proposition shapingDeliver high-impact data advisory including data strategy, literacy, governance and tooling adoptionLead and develop mixed Capco-client teams to deliver sustainable business outcomesShape and promote market-facing propositions and thought leadership in data strategy and advisoryWhat We’re Looking For
8+ years of data consulting experience, with 5+ in Capital MarketsProven experience engaging C-suite stakeholders on enterprise-level data advisoryStrong commercial and relationship development track record with strategic clientsDeep knowledge of data frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC) and cross-domain ecosystemsExperience managing end-to-end data transformations across architecture, analytics and governanceBonus Points For
Hands-on experience leading the rollout of data management tooling in FSStructured account planning, domain strategy, and pipeline ownershipExposure to ESG, regulatory, or financial reporting data challengesExperience mentoring and coaching high-performing data teamsProven delivery of innovative Capital Markets data products or platformsWhy Join Capco
