Treasury AssistantPay Rate: £13 per hour PAYELocation: Onsite, based at Friars Bridge Road, Ipswich, IP1 1RRHours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm with 30 minute unpaid break, Monday - Friday.Duration: Temporary basis, 6 months with potential to extend.Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our Client, Vertas, for a Treasury Assistant on a temporary basis.Duties:Daily cash posting and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and prompt resolution of discrepancies.Company card management, including reviewing monthly statements, coding transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.Processing supplier payments, preparing payment runs (e.g., BACS), issuing remittances, and liaising with suppliers to resolve queriesSkills and Experience:Previous experience in Banking and Finance roles is advantageous.Finance qualifications are advantageous, and we are open to considering postgraduate candidates.Proficient in using MS365 packages, including Teams, Outlook and Excel.Commitment to work onsite full time.Excellent verbal and written communication.Attention to detail and initiative to investigate discrepancies.Ability to work within a team and independently.Ideal for candidates kick-starting their finance career or ready for their next step, with comprehensive support and development available.Apply Now!
