This part-time role offers flexibility across the working week, making it ideal for someone looking to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for supporting the finance function with a variety of tasks, including:Purchase Ledger ManagementAccurate entry of purchase invoices into the ledgerEnsuring all transactions are coded correctly and processed on timeQuery ResolutionHandling supplier queries promptly and professionallyLiaising with internal teams to resolve discrepanciesStatement ReconciliationsReconciling supplier statements against company recordsInvestigating and correcting variancesCredit ControlMonitoring outstanding balances and ensuring timely paymentsCommunicating with clients and suppliers to maintain healthy cash flowGeneral Finance SupportAssisting with month-end processesSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasksCandidate ProfileWe re looking for someone who:Has experience in purchase ledger and credit controlPossesses strong attention to detail and accuracyCommunicates effectively with suppliers and colleaguesIs organised, proactive, and able to manage their own workload
