The

Senior

Director Project Management

is responsible for for providing oversight to Project Managers in the day to day management activities of their projects, ensuring management support in meeting operational and financial deliverables according to customer requirements and contractual obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvidestrategic leadership and oversight for global or regional ophthalmologyclinical trials across all phases.Actas the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication,satisfaction, and long-term partnership.Leadcross-functional project teams to ensure high-quality execution, on-timedelivery, and budget adherence.Overseeproject timelines, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution across multiplestudies or programs.Maintainin-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and therapeuticdevelopments in ophthalmology.Guideand mentor project managers and clinical operations staff to support theirgrowth and project success.Monitorand manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and change orders to ensurefinancial targets are met.Participatein bid defense meetings, proposal development, and strategic planning tosupport business development.Ensureaudit readiness and compliance with internal quality standards and externalregulatory expectations.Collaboratewith medical, regulatory, data management, and biostatistics teams to optimizeproject outcomes.QualificationsYou will be an experienced clinical research professional with a strong background in ophthalmology. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:A proven track record of successfully managing ophthalmology clinical trials across multiple phases is essential.A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth and strengthen client relationships.Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.A minimum of 10 years’ experience in clinical research, including significant experience in project or program leadership.In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP, global regulatory requirements, and compliance standards in clinical research.Thorough understanding of the clinical drug development lifecycle and operational challenges.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery to quality, timelines, and budget targets.Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and with external clients.Experience supporting or contributing to bid defence meetings, proposals, andstrategic planning.What We OfferWe provide a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity for personal and professional growth in a rewarding environment.
