Full-time and permanent role; Hybrid pattern once established with one day per week WFH! Accounts Assistant - Purchase LedgerPermanent andFull-timeSwansea£25-26,000 per annum This is a fantastic opportunity, working from a Swansea-based office. Once you are fully integrated into the finance team, you will get the chance to work up to one day per week from home, if you wish. The team is highly inclusive, with a great supportive culture.The role will see you performing a range of transactional finance tasks, including the following:Processing of supplier invoicesMatching delivery GRNs and PO numbersReconciling supplier statementsAssisting with Payment runsIssuing invoicesSupporting the credit control function by monitoring outstanding paymentsAllocating payments to customer accountsResolving supplier queries and customer queriesAs you can see, this role does incorporate the full spectrum of double-entry bookkeeping and so it is essential that you have a good working knowledge of transactional finance processing . some formal training such as AAT would be highly advantageous for this role. Their computerised accounting system is widely used in industry; you don''t need experience in its use, but you will need to have exposure to some sort of accounting software and have intermediate MS Excel skills. As you will be partnering with stakeholders across the business, you will need to be a bit of a customer service champion.This role is ALSO being considered on a part-time basis . a
