Our vibrant Blackpool Secondary School is seeking a Pastoral Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated inclusion team.This is a Pastoral Road role, meaning you will be on the frontline of student support, managing behaviour, and fostering emotional resilience. This is a Temp to Perm position providing you with a "trial period" to integrate into the school family before transitioning onto a permanent contract. You will primarily support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs and those with SEND or an EHCP.Key ResponsibilitiesPastoral Support: Act as a key worker for specific students, providing a "safe space" and helping them navigate the challenges of the secondary school day.Behaviour Mentoring: Use your skills to de-escalate tension and implement positive behaviour strategies within the Blackpool secondary setting.SEMH and SEND Focus: Deliver 1:1 interventions for pupils with complex emotional needs, Autism (ASD), or ADHD.Attendance and Wellbeing: Work closely with the Pastoral Lead and SENCO to monitor student engagement and track progress against EHCP targets.What We Are Looking ForWe welcome applications from Qualified (Level 2/3) practitioners and
