Kitchen Assistant    
 
Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen Assistant to work with our clients in school based in Sutton Coldfield area, Birmingham.
 
Enhanced DBS needed
 
Working 12 Hours per week
 
5 days a week Monday-Friday term time
Pay rate: £12.21
Hours: 10.00am -2.00pm

The role will be working as part of the catering team in schools in the kitchen. Responsible for food preparation, cleaning surfaces, counter service, washing up, setting up and cleaning away dining area.
 
Kitchen Assistant Requirements:

• Previous Experience
• Ability to work part time.
• Enhanced DBS
• Food and Hygiene, Allergen and safe guarding. 

Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
• Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, following all health and safety regulations.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
• Help with serving food and refilling supplies as needed.
• Ensure that food storage areas are clean and well-organised.
• Support the kitchen team with any other duties as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
