Acting as a senior subject-matter expert you''ll ensure that legal disrepair claims are resolved fairly, proportionately, and at the earliest opportunity. The role will focus on minimising escalation to litigation while improving outcomes for residents and reducing legal and financial risk to the organisation. We''ll look to you to help embed a practical, resolution-first approach, making sure we meet legal requirements, Ombudsman standards and pre-action protocols. It''s essential that you have substantial experience managing legal disrepair cases within housing, local authority or social landlord environments. You''ll bring strong working knowledge of housing law relating to disrepair and housing conditions.
