MandE Engineering Supervisor – Canary Wharf – £60K + EOY Bonus

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MandE Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations within a prestigious, high-end residential estate in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader who can manage a small team while maintaining exceptional standards across landlord and tenant services.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Building Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day engineering operations across a premium residential estate, including some mixed-use elements. You’ll lead a team of engineers, ensuring all maintenance is delivered to a high standard while keeping the team motivated, accountable, and performing effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and support a team of on-site engineers
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Ensure landlord services are maintained to a high standard, with tenant works managed and quoted correctly
- Act as the technical lead on site, supporting fault finding and complex issues
- Drive performance, standards, and accountability within the engineering team
- Liaise closely with the Building Manager and wider estate team

About You

- Strong technical background in either high-end residential or premium commercial environments with previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineering role

- Apprenticeship or higher qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.
- Health and Safety qualifications (IOSH, SSSTS, or NEBOSH) preferred.
- Proven ability to lead in-house teams and external contractors, maintaining compliance and service excellence.
- Strong working knowledge of statutory systems (L8, EICR, SFG20, LOLER, PUWER, building regulations).
- Experience using CAFM systems and reactive maintenance systems.
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to lead from the front

The Package

- Salary: £60,000
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
