About this Role:Experienced / ambitious Design Manager required to work with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to manage the design process for a large new build student accommodation project in Southampton. The scheme comprises several large new build accomodation blocks, refurbishment of existing buildings, plus the refurbishment of a grade 2 listed building and associated infrastructure works You will work closely with the Senior Design Manager on the scheme through the PSCA for the rest of the year, then the construction project team throughout the delivery phase over 2 years until 2029. This will be based with the preconstruction team close to the site in Southampton through PCSA, moving to offices on site through construction phase. Reporting to the Regional Design Manager, you will manage the design development and buildability aspects of schemes through second stage preconstruction and out to commencement on site.
