Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

• Location: Guildford, commutable from Sutton, Woking, Surrey
• Start date: 13/04/2026
• Start time: 8:30am arrival
• Hours (TTO): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 8:30am -4:00pm, Wed - 8:40am-5:15pm to attend staff meeting and Friday there is an earlier finish at 12:45pm on offer with a 45 minute break on the full days.

Tradewind is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and nurturing individual to join the Nursery at an Infants and Juniors School in Guildford, with a vibrant and welcoming team.

If you''re a passionate Educator with a committment to supporting children age 0 - 3 years in such a key part of their development, as they learn and grow more than ever, we would love to hear from you. This role is best suited to a Nursery Practitioner who has completed a Level 3 qualification in childcare for the summer term only.

What we are looking for

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare or teaching and learning
• Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
• Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities
• Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
