Our client is on a mission to modernise how financial advisers access and deliver investment solutions. Their asset management proposition includes a competitive MPS, a bespoke TPS offering, and a range of specialist single-strategy funds—designed to give advisers greater control, flexibility, and alignment with client outcomes and regulatory pressures like Consumer Duty.Focused on advisers with £150m+ AUM and a desire for more tailored solutions, the TPS product in particular is gaining strong market traction - offering full white-labelling, no pricing cap, and a flexible approach to asset allocation and portfolio design.Theyre now hiring an external salesperson to drive new business across the Cotswolds, South Wales, and the South West. This is a substantial greenfield territory, supported by an Internal Business Development Manager and regular warm introductions from colleagues already engaging your target firms.Key Highlights

The company is lean, but very profitable, because of its high performing team and CEO who champions autonomy and results.£915m AUM and currently on their 5-year journey to grow to £5bn AUM - this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping their Asset Management arm.Selling a suite of four asset management investment products, including their TPS solution—widely regarded as one of the strongest tailored offerings in the market. Responsible for generating new relationships with Financial Advisers and Wealth Managers across the Cotswolds, South Wales, and the South West. The current strategy includes leveraging FCA data and outreach through calls, emails, and events - youll need to be proactive and confident in driving your own business development. You have a target of 10 new meetings per week.Achieving 3 qualified meetings per quarter and closing 1 deal in your first 6 months.Build strong, peer-level relationships with business owners and financial planning firms by positioning yourself as a trusted expert in investment solutions - helping advisers understand how to integrate the asset management proposition into their centralised investment strategy and client offering.Accurately document all adviser interactions, opportunities, and next steps in the CRM, using structured fact finds to capture investment strategies, preferences, and suitability for the asset management suite - ensuring visibility, compliance, and a consistent sales process.Collaborate closely with your dedicated Internal Business Development Manager (IBDM) and the wider support team to respond to adviser queries and maintain a high standard of service.Attend regional and national events, seminars, and due diligence meetings with both prospective and existing partner firms to promote the asset management offering.Participate in regular 1:1s with the Head of Asset Management to review performance, refine product knowledge, and align on activity plans that support new business targets.Follow up on all marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), events, and seminar attendees, recording outcomes and next steps to ensure momentum and conversion.Maintain a strong understanding of wider business functions - including marketing, compliance, risk, and operations - to collaborate effectively and refer opportunities to colleagues where relevant.Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in asset management, investment solutions, or closely related areas of financial services, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding new business targets.Strong academic background in a relevant field (e.g. finance, economics, or investment management), ideally with a 2:1 degree or higher, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.Deep understanding of the asset management landscape, with the ability to hold credible, peer-level conversations around portfolio construction, centralised investment propositions (CIPs and CRPs), and client suitability—particularly in relation to MPS, TPS, and single-strategy investment solutions.Commercially driven and confident using data to manage a growing pipeline, interpret KPIs and MI, and maintain consistent activity in partnership with an Internal BDM and support team.At least 3 years’ experience using CRM systems and comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools to support reporting, planning, and adviser engagement.A resilient self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills, able to build trust with financial advisers and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused culture.Salary from £80k - £110k base x 2 OTE.Private medical insurance and 8x life assurance.28 days holiday + bank holidays.Remote working (with the exception of client meetings and events).Enhanced paternity and maternity leave.Seniority level
