full-time Kitchen and Bar Manager

to lead our food and beverage offering at our

friendly, independently run racket sports club

in Jesmond.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a unique and welcoming environment, set within beautiful grounds in the heart of Jesmond. We offer

backgrounds are encouraged to apply.Main ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day management of the

kitchen and bar operationsLead, organise, and manage the kitchen team, including

staff rotasCook food during shifts, including meals for the

on-site nursery , ensuring quality and consistencyPlan

menus , manage

stock ordering , and ensure events are catered effectivelyMaintain and enforce

Health and Safety

and

Food Hygiene

standards, ensuring all necessary

paperwork

and

compliance

measures are metDeliver excellent

customer service

and ensure a consistent member experienceAssist with routine

cleaning

of the kitchen, equipment, and utensilsSupport initiatives to develop the food and beverage offering

including events such as our successful

monthly pub quiz , which regularly attracts 70+ attendeesPackage food with correct labelling in line with regulationsCarry out

stock rotation

and manage deliveriesWhat Were Looking ForDemonstrated experience in

health, safety, and hygieneExperience managing or working within a kitchen, ideally as a

chef ,

kitchen supervisorAbility to work
