About the Role

We''re looking for a Document Controller to join our dynamic civil and structural engineering team based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a key position supporting our engineers and project managers by ensuring that all documentation is well-organized, accurate, and easily accessible throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation in line with company and client standards.
• Control and distribute technical drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
• Set up and maintain document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, SharePoint, etc.).
• Ensure version control and track document revisions.
• Support project teams in document retrieval and compliance audits.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure smooth information flow.

About You

• Proven experience as a Document Controller in a construction, engineering, or infrastructure environment.
• Familiarity with common document management software and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001 standards is an advantage.
