Role Overview:An exciting opportunity exists for a Shift Electrician to join the team in Essex. The role involves maintaining electrical equipment and systems across a busy manufacturing site. With a shift pattern of 12-hour days and nights, you will ensure that all electrical systems operate at peak performance, providing support to the production and maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment.Fault-find and repair electrical equipment, including motors, inverter drives, and control systems.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, working in a safe and effective manner.Participate in planned maintenance activities and ensure that all work is accurately logged in the CMMS system. Required Skills and Experience:Qualifications: 17th Edition BS7671 (18th Edition desirable).Experience: Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens S5/S7) is beneficial.Technical Expertise: Familiarity with automation control systems, motors, inverter drives, and other key plant equipment.
