Finance Manager (Construction / MandE Contractor) Very hands-on role with 1 direct report. Role will involve transactional finance duties. IDEAL CANDIDATE: You ll have a strong background in accounting and finance, ideally gained in a construction, MandE, or contracting environment. You ll be confident using Sage software, comfortable working independently, and capable of managing the full finance cycle with minimal supervision. Our client, a well established mechanical and electrical contractor based in Ickenham, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take full responsibility for our finance operations. THE ROLE As our Finance Manager, you ll oversee all day-to-day accounting, payroll and compliance work, ensuring accuracy and reliability across the board. You ll work closely with senior management and our external accountants, supporting sound decision-making and helping to maintain a clear picture of the company s financial position. Your duties as Finance Manager will include: Managing all bookkeeping and accounting tasks using Sage 50 Accounts Professional. Processing payroll through Sage 50 Payroll, including PAYE, NI and pension submissions. Overseeing VAT and CIS returns in line with HMRC regulations. Producing monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements. Preparing and monitoring cash flow forecasts to support business planning.
