Quality InspectorCompetitive + Benefits Welwyn Garden City Days Only (Mon-Fri)gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for an Inspector to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden CityPerformance ObjectivesInspection of parts to drawings, jigs and fixtures, lofts etc. and reporting of results (First Article reports, inspection reports etc).Using measuring equipment such as a CMM, callipers, micrometres, height gauges, radius gauges, thickness checking gauges etc.Checking paperwork for compliance (e.g. route card sign-off, subcontract paperwork etc)Knowledge and compliance to quality proceduresAdministration of non-conforming parts using established company systems and procedures.Work in accordance with production and QC priorities, instructions and workloadsEnsure Inspection equipment is fully functional and within calibration.Notification of anything not meeting requirements.Use of Microsoft office and Aventa to generate relevant paperwork and records.Maintain good housekeeping of drawings, specifications, records equipment and work area.Compliance to Health and Safety / Environmental requirements and procedures.Person SpecificationA-C GCSE Level or equivalent in English and Maths;Health and Safety Training.Experienced in inspection protocolsKnowledge of Health and Safety requirementsGood interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationshipsGood time management and organisationa
