Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a professional engineering organisation who are seeking a 5 Axis CNC Operator to join their busy Darlaston site.Duties and tasks will include:Set up and operate 5 Axis Hurco''s and a ROEDER using setting sheets.Conversational program, set up and operate Hurco 5-AXIS to produce precise components to specification using WinMax software at the console.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Check your own work using a range of measuring equipment.Completing one offs and batch work.Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule.Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:a min of 5 years'' experience of machining with experience in Aerospace desirable.Experience of working on Hurco is essential.An ability to program and work with minimal supervision is a necessity.Experience of 3,2 and 5 Axis MachiningExperience of working with graphite would be beneficial.Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 10 hours between 6am and 6pm, Friday is overtime which will be provided on a weeks notice, and parking is available.
