Exponential-e is in the market for a Security Pre-Sales Consultant who can think outside of the box and work on complex projects that encompass all aspects of Digital Security. The candidate should have knowledge and experience across all market verticals, with a comprehensive awareness of vendors within the Security Digital Arena, providing:“Pre-Sales” Security Solutions support internally and externally to account managersWork as a team player to assist in the smooth running of the Solutions departmentClosely interact with the engineering department during the design stage of new solutionsSubject matter expert in Digital SecurityKey responsibilities
Foster strong relationships with Bid and Sales TeamsTechnically qualify new opportunities in conjunction with the commercial qualificationAttend internal and external meetingsTake personal technical ownership of nominated key opportunities and lead technical engagement through qualification, RFI/RFP/BAFO and Exponential-e response negotiation stagesAct as an SME for Security Services to drive Security innovation across the client baseDesign and develop innovative and competitive security solutions, working individually or leading a virtual team for the qualified opportunitySupport the Sales Account Manager with the commercials of the opportunityWork closely with the Exponential-e Bid Team and Account Managers to respond to tenders (RFI/RFP)Ensure open and transparent communication channels exist with all sales staff and managersCreate a close working relationship with the engineering department to validate proposed designs and solutionsKnowledge and experience required
Significant IT / Telecoms experienceSignificant experience in a pre-sales environment with the ability to talk confidently about technical solutionsExcellent presentation skills – the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceDemonstrable experience responding to bids and tendersGood commercial acumenProven technical design skills and the ability to create design documentationExperience in designing secure security solutions coveringNext-Generation FirewallsEnd Point Security and ComplianceData Loss Prevention / Privilege Access ManagementRobust CSOC services that include SIEM and Security OrchestrationCloud security and complianceSASE / CASBEDR / XDRKMS / HSM SolutionsNFV Security Technologies, WAFsDDOSContainerisation and Cloud Native application securitySecurity consultationRansomware / Anti-Span / Malware prevention technologiesDesirable Core TechnologiesAlien Vault (USM Anywhere) / Microsoft SentinelPalo Alto / Fortinet / CiscoDell Cybervaults / Seperna TechnologiesMicrosoft Defender / SentinelOneAzure Active DirectoryCyberArkOkta / Azure MFA / ForcepointExperience in Private and Public Cloud architectures for SecurityKnowledge of Network Architectures SDN and WAN/LAN TechnologiesKnowledge of IPT, Hosted Voice, Unified Communications impact are requirements of Digital Security ServicesPrevious hands-on technical experience is desirableOur People
