We are excited to be recruiting for a Hospitality and Retail Head Chef to work with us at wonderful BandI site currently going through a huge refurbishment.

About the site: This BandI site provides lunch for 400-550 people every day. We provide hospitality events four times weekly with a host of evening events for up to 350pax several times throughout the week.

Location: EC2V 7QPRate of pay: £50,000 per annum + 1.5 overtimeWorking pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week - 7am to 3.30pm

Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Executive Chef, the head chef will manage a team of Sous Chefs, Chef De Parties, Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters of 10-12 peopleTo prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standardTo produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customersTo ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menusTo develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectationsTo be creative when menu planning and including the client and customersPride yourself on food quality and hygiene standardOverall responsibility for managing the kitchen teamProvide feedback and coaching on performanceTo ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training
