The CompanyOur client is a fast-growing specialist in energy efficiency and low-carbon retrofit, delivering large-scale residential upgrade programmes across the UK.Working closely with housing associations and public sector clients, they provide full turnkey solutions including insulation, renewable technologies, and decarbonisation works - playing a key role in the UK''s journey to net zero.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery across multiple projects.The RoleAs Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of retrofit and refurbishment schemes, ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong client relationships.You''ll be working across a mix of EWI, insulation, roofing, and renewable installation projects, often within occupied social housing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesFull commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final accountPreparation and submission of valuations, variations, and final accountsCost control, forecasting, and reportingSubcontractor procurement, negotiation, and managementContract administration (typically JCT / framework agreements)Liaising with operational teams, clients, and stakeholdersEnsuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targetsRequirementsProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within constructionExperience in refurbishment, social housing
