Assistant Food and Beverage Services Manager
to support the smooth running of our FandB outlets, including our
Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Conference and Banqueting operations . This is a fast-paced and guest-facing role that requires exceptional organisation, people skills and a passion for delivering unforgettable hospitality experiences.Responsibilities:Food and Beverage Operations:Deliver a warm, personal welcome and ensure a consistently high standard of serviceAct as a brand ambassador, ensuring Pullman standards are delivered throughout all of FandBSupervise daily operations in our Restaurant, Bar and Room Service, ensuring smooth service flowCollaborate with the Head Chef and FandB Services Manager to develop product offerings and optimise guest satisfactionCoordinate shift coverage, rotas and operational needs across all outlets including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidaysConference and Banqueting (CandB):Oversee the day to day operation of the Conference and Banqueting department, ensuring seamless execution of meetings, events and banquetsLiaise closely with the Conference and Banqueting Manager to ensure all functions are delivered to the highest standard and client expectations are exceededEnsure function spaces are prepared according to event specifications, including layout, equipment and staffingSupport the delivery of corporate meetings, private events, and high-profile conferences
adapting service style as needed (plated, buffet, reception, etc.)Maintain close communication with kitchen and AV teams for timing and technical executionTrain and coach the CandB team in service standards, guest engagement and operational proceduresMonitor guest feedback during and after events, taking ownership of resolutions and improvementsLeadership and Admin:Supervise, coach and support FandB team members across all departmentsEnsure the team adheres to health and safety and food hygiene standardsContribute to staff training, appraisals and performance developmentMonitor and manage equipment, furnishings and inventory in all service areasPrepare for and attend operational and function meetings; step in for the FandB Services Manager when requiredAssist in achieving department sales and profitability goals, with a focus on upselling and guest engagementQualifications
What were looking for
:A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiencesExperience in managing or supervising FandB teams in a 4 or 5-star hotel environmentPrevious exposure to Conference and Banqueting operations is highly desirableExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Infrasys and Teams rota software is an advantageA proactive, hands-on approach with great attention to detailAdditional Information
