We’re currently recruiting for an

Electrical Engineer

to join our

Engineering team . In this role, you will evaluate assets, determine and execute routine preventative maintenance activities and procedures and assess and implement major fault repairs, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

Taking accountability for inspection and maintenance of electrical systems and infrastructureResponding to breakdowns of equipment, assessment, diagnosis, repair of faults or escalationCo-ordinating of OXB’s external engineering resource in relationship to specialist repairs and maintenance of assetsCompleting regulatory routine monitoring (Legionella tap temperatures for example)Evaluating asset performance against determined criteriaCompleting quality documentation for critical failuresIdentifying spares stock availabilityEscalating events impacting engineering assets

We are Looking For:

Required:

Completed an electrical apprenticeship NVQ 3 Level 3, City and Guilds or equivalentBS7671 18th Edition trainingProven experience within an engineering/electrical maintenance function.A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English

Desirable:

Completed CandG 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualificationExperience within a GxP Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry is preferredGood working knowledge of Health and Safety within an Engineering environment
