We re looking for a Skilled Mechanical Engineer / Fitter to join a high-performing maintenance team, working on a specialised rail fleet that provides track maintenance. The role will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety. Working Hours (Weekdays Only): Monday to Friday: 7:30am 4:00pm Includes a morning break and a lunch break. What You ll Be Doing Carrying out annual maintenance, modifications, and repairs on specialist plant equipment Maintaining machinery in line with agreed maintenance plans Ensuring equipment is available and performing at optimum levels Completing servicing within required timeframes Monitoring and maintaining machine condition post-maintenance Ordering parts and equipment in a timely manner Maintaining high housekeeping standards within the depot (5S) Completing all maintenance documentation accurately and on time Supporting occasional field service repairs across various locations (lone working may be required) What You ll Bring NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical, electrical, or maintenance engineering discipline Ideally time-served apprenticeship
